濟源是河南省李子主產區。玉皇李又名黃甘李,是河南省有名的小雜水果之一。其栽培歷史悠久,距今已有一千多年。相傳濟源縣有座“玉皇嶺”,山勢聳立,式成一個自然山寨,李子就發源于此,故稱“玉皇李”。 玉皇李果實外形端秀,近似桃形,顏色鮮艷,個大肉厚,氣味芳香,甜酚適口,營養豐富。70一80年代,李子年產量在300萬公斤左右,最高產量達450萬公斤。



    Jiyuan City is a major producing area of plumes in Henan Province. Jiyuan Yuhuang Plume, also called Yellow and Sweet Plume, is a famous fruit in Henan, which has a cultivated history of more than 1000 years. It's said that there is a Yuhuang Ridge from where plumes stem. Thus, they are called Yuhuang plumes. Yuhuang plumes have fine appearance, peach-liked shapes, bright color, big bodies, thick sarcocarp, aromatic flavor as well as rich nutrition.
