寧陵金頂謝花酥梨屬白梨和沙梨的自然雜交品種，現(xiàn)種植面積20萬畝。該品種從果實(shí)外觀上看，萼洼廣而淺，梗洼附近果點(diǎn)較大，周圍有一片放射狀金黃色銹塊，果實(shí)不經(jīng)后熟便酥脆可食，故有“金頂謝花酥梨”之美稱。
      
    據(jù)《寧陵縣志》記載：寧陵金頂謝花酥梨距今已有700多年的栽培歷史。明孝宗年間，寧陵縣薛屯村的金頂謝花酥梨被列為上等皇宮貢品，l958年寧陵縣劉花橋村的金頂謝花酥梨曾敬獻(xiàn)給毛澤東主席。1986年在河南省名優(yōu)特產(chǎn)品評(píng)比中被評(píng)為河南名優(yōu)產(chǎn)品，1992年在北京首屆中國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)博覽會(huì)上被評(píng)為優(yōu)質(zhì)產(chǎn)品，1993年獲河南省優(yōu)質(zhì)農(nóng)產(chǎn)品金獎(jiǎng)，1994年在鄭州全國(guó)優(yōu)質(zhì)農(nóng)產(chǎn)品展銷會(huì)上被評(píng)為金獎(jiǎng)產(chǎn)品，l995年在北京第二屆中國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)博覽會(huì)上被評(píng)為銀質(zhì)產(chǎn)品獎(jiǎng)，1999年在北京中國(guó)國(guó)際農(nóng)產(chǎn)品博覽會(huì)上榮獲“中國(guó)名牌產(chǎn)品”榮譽(yù)。
      
    寧陵縣2003年被河南省無公害農(nóng)產(chǎn)品產(chǎn)地認(rèn)定委員會(huì)認(rèn)定為無公害酥梨生產(chǎn)基地，2004年寧陵金頂謝花酥梨被農(nóng)業(yè)部認(rèn)證為國(guó)家級(jí)無公害農(nóng)產(chǎn)品，其證號(hào)為:WGH-04-07216，2005年被國(guó)家質(zhì)檢總局確定為國(guó)家地理標(biāo)志保護(hù)產(chǎn)品，2006年被河南省名牌產(chǎn)品戰(zhàn)略推進(jìn)委員會(huì)評(píng)為河南省名牌農(nóng)產(chǎn)品。


 

 Ningling Goldentop Crisp Pears

   
    Ningling crisp pears are natural hybrids of white pears and sand pears. This pear breed has a distinctive appearance: it has wide and shallow calyx depression, big spots nearby terrier depression and a piece of radial golden rust block. They are edible and crisp before getting mature. Thus, it has a praise of Goldentop Crisp Pears.
      
    According to Ningling County Record, the cultivation of this kinf od pears begins more than 700 years ago. In Xiaozong period of Ming Dynasty, they are set as superior tribute. In 1993, they won golden medal of Henan high-quality agricultural product. Furthermore, they won another golden prize in Zhengzhou national high-quality agricultural products expo.
