香菇，又稱香蕈、冬菇，是一種生長在木材上的真菌類。由于它味道鮮美，香氣沁人，營養豐富，不但位列草菇、平菇、白蘑菇之上，而且素有“植物皇后”之譽。香菇是世界第二大食用菌，也是我國特產之一，在民間素有“山珍”之稱。
      
    西峽香菇，河南省西峽縣特產，中國國家地理標志產品。西峽香菇品質優，味道好，花菇率高，深受消費者歡迎，遠銷廣州、深圳、福建、浙江、日本、韓國、新加坡、臺灣、香港等地。西峽香菇主要分布在西峽縣丹水鎮、田關鄉、陽城鄉、回車鎮、五里橋鎮、丁河鎮、重陽鄉、西坪鎮、寨根鄉、桑坪鎮、石界河鄉、米坪鎮、軍馬河鄉、雙龍鎮、二狼坪鄉等15個鄉鎮。



    
    Shiitake, also called Champignon and Dried Mushroom, grows on woods and belongs to fungi.     Xixia shiitake is a specialty in Xixia County and is a Chinese geographic indication product. It's popular with common people and sells very well in Guangzhou, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and many other places for its high quality, good taste and high flower mushroom rate. Xixia shiitakes are mainly cultivated in 15 villages and towns in Xixia County.
