關(guān)德功燒雞,又稱"關(guān)記燒雞",是周口市傳統(tǒng)風(fēng)味食品。關(guān)記燒雞是清代光緒年間,由關(guān)德功祖父關(guān)洪斌創(chuàng)制的,早在清末民初已譽(yù)滿周口、漯河一帶。關(guān)記燒雞距今已相傳三代歷時(shí)108年。關(guān)德功燒雞的制作經(jīng)驗(yàn)是注重培養(yǎng)老湯,配料講究,加工精細(xì)。關(guān)記燒雞造型美觀,色佳味美,美口不膩。不論熱涼只要提著雞腿一抖,即可骨肉分離。以獨(dú)特風(fēng)味令人傾倒,不僅是佐酒助興與節(jié)日饋贈(zèng)之佳品,而且是招待來(lái)賓與舉辦婚宴的佳肴,與道口、孔集燒雞齊名,為河南省三大名燒雞之一。關(guān)德功燒雞不僅深受周口群眾喜愛(ài),而且還遠(yuǎn)銷北京、上海、天津、廣州、安徽、山東等省市,博得顧客好評(píng)。1981年被列為河南省風(fēng)味肉制名產(chǎn)品,1986年被評(píng)為河南省優(yōu)質(zhì)產(chǎn)品,1988年獲首屆中國(guó)食品博覽會(huì)銀質(zhì)獎(jiǎng)。
Guandegong Roast Chicken
Guandegong Roast Chicken, which is also called Guanji Roast Chicken, is a traditional flavor food in Zhoukou City. It was created by Guan Hongbin, who was the grandfather of Guan Degong, in the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty and it has lasted for 108 years till now. It had enjoyed a good reputation in Zhoukou and Luohe at the ending of Qing Dynasty.

Along with Red-cooked Chicken, Daokou Flavor and Kongji Roast Chicken, Guandegong roast chicken is one of the most three famous kinds of roast chickens. Guandegong roast chicken is highly praised and has set its unshakeable position in the market of Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Anhui, Shandong and many other districts. It has earned several prizes till now. For example, in 1981, it was listed into Famous Flavor Products in Henan Province; in 1986, it was named a quality product in Henan; in 1988, it won silver medal in the first Chinese Food Expo.
