在豫、魯、皖交界一帶,有一位綽號“一捏準”的民間雕塑藝人,他就是夏邑縣歧河鄉大于莊村64歲的農民于學文。
于學文的家距豫東著名的寺院青銅寺很近,幼年時,他經常跑到寺里去看佛像。后來,他萌生了學習泥塑技藝的念頭。15歲那年,于學文拜杞縣雕塑大師左世修為師,學習建筑雕塑。為了更好地掌握雕塑技術中的色彩運用和透視比例等,于學文又拜安徽蕭縣既擅長國畫,又工于雕塑的徐作全為師。經過幾十年的歷練,于學文的雕塑技藝已是爐火純青。
從上世紀60年代起,于學文就承擔了許多雕塑工程,他的雕塑作品遍及豫、皖、鄂幾省數十個縣(市)。于學文的雕塑作品除繼承傳統雕塑技法外,有的還采用石匠的剔鑿花活的手法在仿古建筑上雕刻花草、異獸、流云、壽帶、如意頭、古錢等傳統吉祥圖案,具有濃郁的鄉土氣息和地域特征。
于學文民間雕塑作品大多留于亭臺、樓閣、殿宇、寺廟、廣場、校園等處,主要有圓雕、高浮雕、淺浮雕、磚雕。雕塑原料主要有黃泥、水泥、白膏泥、木材等。作品內容主要以人物、佛像、花鳥、魚蟲、異獸和其他民間吉祥圖案等,題材廣泛,造型古樸、粗獷。作品用色豐富,色彩艷麗,是中國民間傳統裝飾藝術最常見的色彩處理方法,主要用于民間風俗活動、宗教儀式等,一般使用海藍、綠、紅等顏色。
在幾十年的雕塑生涯中,于學文兼收并蓄,博采眾長,不斷汲取民間藝術的營養,形成了自己獨特的藝術風格。其作品既體現出中國傳統的雕塑藝術,又充滿了現代民間民俗生活的氣息,具有較強的藝術感染力,是以一位民間藝人獨有的審美眼光和藝術表現手法詮釋著他對美好生活的向往。于學文的雕塑是基于深厚的民間文化底蘊和廣泛的民眾基礎而形成的一種民間藝術,集中體現了我國民間藝人的智慧,是集民間藝術、風俗、歷史、宗教為一體的一種傳統民間技藝,對于我們研究民間藝術、風土人情、歷史文化、宗教信仰等具有極其重要的價值。
Yu Xuewen Folk Sculptures
In the junction of Henan, Shandong and Anhui, there is a folk sculpture artist who is 64-year-old farmer Yu Xuewen, living in Dayuzhuang Village, Qihe, Xiayi County.
Yu Xuewen folk sculptures always lay in terraces and towers, temples, squares, school campus and so on, which are mainly circular engrave, high relief, bas-relief, tile curving. The curving materials are mainly mud, concrete, clay, wood, the products are always figures, josses, flowers, fish, worm and many other folk lucky pictures, which make it has a various themes and simple and rough appearance. The works usually have bright color which is often ocean-blue, green and red and is always used in folklore activities and religious ceremonies. All these characteristics endow it a tense local flavor and region character.
Yu's works not only reflect Chinese traditional Curving art but also filled with flavor of life in folk and have strong art inflection. Yu expressed his good hope for life with his unique appreciation of the beauty and expressing ways. Yu's sculpture is a folk art which lays foundation on profound folk culture and extensive common people, reflects folk artists' intelligence in out country, units folk art, custom, history and religious together, contains much vales for us to research folk art, local customs and practices, history and culture, religious relief, etc.
